Corrigan Wickman Advisory

Dan Corrigan –

Dan established his business in 1961 and continues to work because he feels he’s doing what he was made to do. He believes that when you’re doing what God has called you to do, you get energy from your work… so why retire?!?!  Dan frequently speaks to groups of such varied composition as elite business professionals, as well as students and church groups, covering a range of subjects from simplified sales concepts to estate and business planning, motivation and ethics. Dan’s approach is uncomplicated, with wide appeal for the financial and legal advisors seeking assistance with communication skills. He has presented his concepts to people at numerous industry meetings and conventions. In 2007 he presented the “MDRT Hour” for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors in Washington DC. Dan is committed to making his business a mission rather than making his mission a business. This is key to his character.

Throughout his career, he has continually “given back” to the industry and his community. He helped found Kids on the Block, Linfield Chamber Orchestra, International Pinot Association, Willamette Cancer Foundation and McMinnville Athletic Club. He’s involved in the Rotary Club and Gideon’s International. Dan is a participating member in NAIFA, (ORAIFA) Oregon Association of Insurance Financial Advisors, and a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table.

Dan and his wife, have 11 children between them and a growing number of grandchildren that keep them young at heart. They love spending time with their family, and many of their vacations are spent visiting their children who live in other states. In his spare time, Dan enjoys spending time outdoors gardening and bird watching, and also enjoys reading, learning more about natural science, and is involved in several bible studies.

Dan’s business partner stated, “He is committed to his personal and spiritual growth – at this state in his life – more than anyone I know. He knows his purpose and pursues it with vigor. In a world that is so often judgmental and discouraging us, he sees people as better than they are – he breathes hope and life into dreams of what currently exists and what can exist in people’s lives. His clients, and this business, mean so much to him.”

Our Support Staff…

Jan Jackson –

Jan moved from California to Oregon in 1980. She has been with Corrigan Wickman Advisory, LLC since September 1997. She is the glue that holds the office together and it is most likely her voice you’ll hear when you call the office. In addition to general office duties, Jan provides administrative assistance to Dan, Mark & Maria. Being in a small office, there is always work to be done. Jan’s greatest gift to the office is providing a warm reception to our clients.

When not working at Corrigan Wickman Advisory, Jan likes to spend time with her two grown children, and her grandchildren. Jan enjoys camping, walking (especially on the beach), music (anything by Josh Groban), singing, reading and playing with her grandkids. Jan attends Calvary Chapel Church and volunteers in the bookstore.

Jan says, “What I like most about Corrigan Wickman Advisory is working with a great team of people who are dedicated and loyal to each other and to the company. We truly are one big family.”
Maria Olsen –

Maria is a native Oregonian and has more than 20 years administrative experience in various fields and has been with   Corrigan Wickman Advisory, LLC, since July 2004. Being employed in a small business gives Maria the opportunity to  work in a variety of areas: client support, office management, compliance and payroll/accounting.  Maria’s bulls-eye is to offer support wherever needed.  She passed her Series 65 Exam in October 2007 which allows her to act in an advisory capacity as needed.

When not working at Corrigan Wickman Advisory (which thanks to a family-friendly work environment is a lot of the time!) Maria likes to spend time with her husband, and her children. Maria enjoys camping, running and lifting weights (and hopes to one day bench her body weight☺). Maria is a member of an elementary school Site Council, Parent Teacher Club and volunteers regularly in her youngest daughter’s classroom.

Maria says, “What I like most about working for Corrigan Wickman Advisory is that my supervisors and co-workers support me in all areas of my life: employee, friend, mother and wife. Our office is filled with people who have integrity and care about our clients and each other.”
